Hosting Setup and Management: Your Account, Our Setup
Hosting is optional, and the hosting account is always yours. If you want help, our hosting setup puts your site on Vercel or a Debian/Ubuntu VPS in your name. Then we manage the deploys for you.
We don't resell hosting. You can take the code we build and host it anywhere you like. If you'd rather not deal with servers, Nishad More sets everything up and looks after it. You pay the hosting provider directly, and you pay us only for the setup and management work.
What does our hosting setup include?
We charge a one-time $197 for setup and $49 a month for ongoing management. Both are optional. Management runs month to month with 14 days' notice to cancel, and you keep your hosting account.
- DNS: we point your domain at the new host and document every record we change.
- SSL: your site loads over HTTPS, with certificates set to renew on their own.
- Deployment pipeline: changes go from your code repository to your live site in a tested, repeatable way.
- Dependency updates and server security patches: applied as soon as they're released.
- Uptime monitoring: we hear about a problem quickly instead of waiting for a customer to tell you.
- A staging site: changes are tested before they reach real visitors.
- One free move from your current host.
If your site goes down while we manage it, we fix it at no extra charge. You can also email the people who built your site directly.
Vercel or a VPS: which one is right for you?
We set up two kinds of hosting. Both run Next.js well. The right choice depends on how much control you want and what else your site needs to run.
Vercel is a hosting platform made by the team behind Next.js. There's no server for anyone to patch. Every change becomes a new deploy, and Vercel only switches traffic once the build succeeds.
If something looks wrong, we can roll back to the last working version right away. Vercel's pricing depends on your traffic and usage tier. We help you pick the right plan.
A Debian or Ubuntu VPS is a virtual server you rent from a provider. You get a fixed monthly bill and full control. We configure Nginx to serve your site, set up DNS and SSL, lock down the server, and build the deploy process. A VPS suits sites that also need to run a database, background jobs, or other software on the same machine.
| Vercel | Debian/Ubuntu VPS | |
|---|---|---|
| Who owns the account | You | You |
| Who you pay for hosting | Vercel, directly | Your VPS provider, directly |
| Server patching | None needed, the platform handles it | We apply security patches for you |
| Deploys | Built first, then switched live, with rollback | Set up by us from your code repository |
| Best for | Most marketing and small business sites | Sites that also run a database or other software |
| Control | Less to manage, less to configure | Full control of the server |
Where does the back end go?
Vercel hosts your front end, the part your visitors see. Some projects also need a back end, like a custom CRM, a dashboard or an API. We deploy that part and its database to Railway or Render for secure, scalable API management.
Keeping the back end separate means your data never sits on the public site. It also means each part can be updated or scaled on its own.
The same rules apply as for your front end. The Railway or Render account is in your name, and you pay the provider directly. We set it up, connect it to your front end and manage the deploys.
The process: how we set up your hosting
- Call. We look at your site, your traffic and what it needs to run. Then we recommend Vercel or a VPS and explain why.
- Your account. You create the hosting account in your own name, so you always hold the keys. We ask for access only to do the setup.
- Setup. We deploy your site, configure DNS and SSL, and connect the deployment pipeline. On a VPS, we also set up Nginx and harden the server.
- Testing. We check every page, redirect, sitemap and robots file on the new host before switching your domain.
- Handover. You get a short written summary of what we set up, so another developer could take over if you ever need one.
The Information-Gain Edge
We do not use PBNs, link farms, or keyword stuffing. We use structural, white-hat SEO that Google rewards. Hosting is part of that, even though most agencies treat it as an afterthought.
Speed and security signals. HTTPS is part of what Google calls page experience. A well-configured host also helps your pages meet Google's Core Web Vitals targets.
Clean crawling. We check that your sitemap, robots file and redirects work after every deploy. A broken redirect or a missing sitemap can quietly cost you rankings for weeks.
Structured data that survives updates. Your Schema.org markup is built into each deploy, alongside the page content. It stays in sync with what visitors read.
Reading the data honestly. Semrush shows "managed wordpress hosting" at about 1,100 monthly searches, with a KD of 32 and a CPC of $25.00. Hosts pay that much per click because a hosting customer often pays them every month for years.
We don't resell hosting, so we don't earn anything from your hosting bill. You pay your provider directly, and our fee stays $49 a month whether your site gets 100 visits or 10,000.
Questions about our hosting setup
Do I have to use your hosting setup?
No. Hosting is optional. You can take the code and host it yourself, or hand it to another developer. You own your domain, your hosting account and your content either way.
Who pays for the hosting itself?
You do, directly to Vercel or your VPS provider. We don't mark up or resell hosting. Our $197 setup fee and $49 monthly fee cover only our work.
Do you build or host WordPress or PHP sites?
No. We build in Next.js and React, and we set up hosting for those sites. If you have an older site you want to replace, see our website design service.
